This two-story dumpling restaurant just west of the Bridge of Nine Turnings (Jiu Qu Qiao) would be the ideal place to take a load off and refortify with some of Shanghai's most famous snacks if it weren't always jammed to the rafters with scores of liked-minded tourists. What they all come for is the award-winning Nanxiang xiaolong (Â¥8/$1 for a steamer of 16 dumplings), steamed pork dumplings with delicious broth that squirts all over the moment you bite into the wrapper.
