This building was one of leader Sun Yat-Sen's former residences. Considered the founder of modern China, Yat-Sen was instrumental in the overthrow of the Manchu dynasty in 1912. The restored home is furnished in its original style. The Chinese leader lived here with his wife between 1918 and 1924 and his wife continued to live here until 1937.
